Anonymous writes "The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) who manages the dot-ca ccTLD has announced the results of their annual election. 3 Seats were up for election with 2 incumbants (Denton, Kawchuk) returned and Mercer newly elected.

Tim Denton is the kind of director ICANN could use. His blog is here []. Indeed the CIRA board seems of better quality in general than ICANN's, though that's not saying much.

And it's too bad Ken Fockler missed out (as first runner up). He was one of the better ICANN directors during his term. -g
