    .INFO is CORE (i.e. IAHC)

It is clear that the ICANN .INFO "Proof-of-Concept" is a failure.

The good news is that eventually .INFO owners
will likely band together to route around ICANN
and will make their own registry for Next Generation
    Internet services.

Actually .info already exists and preceedes the icann .info. All .info owners need to do is go http://www.domainisland.com and register thier .info. Unlike the ICANN version there are no bogus TM claims. As for routing around ICANN that is a very simple matter.

The largest root is the Pacific Root / New Root. http://www.pacificroot.com and http://www.newroot.com And after upgrading your DNS at http://www.pacificroot.com/updatedns.shtml you will be able to see sites such as http://www.bbc.news or http://the.earth as well as the conventional .com .net, .org, ccTLDs etc. This is a fast growing are of the Internet with an endless richness in domains. I recently opened a music store at http://song.lyrics and new sites are appearing every day.

We must keep in mind that the Internet was designed to survive a nuclear attack by routing around faliure. How long will it be before it roots around the abomination that the ICANN .info has become? It is happening right now when one computer changes the DNS to the inclusive root that is one less computer under the control of ICANN.
