"simon" is right. New.crap won't go broke. They'll never drop the expired names, because not many would be renewed. It's better to pretend lots of names are still registered by not dropping them.
New.net is a piece of sh-t. They'll never let you know what's going on with the numbers, so when they claim 150 million users (or whatever), I can't really trust them. Too bad, they started out with a great idea and an energetic customer base. Now they're widely regarded as a joke and the majority of customers have jumped into ICANN's new TLDs.
