Data mining techniques would then allow one to see how much of the "consensus" for the sunrise was actual, and how much was artificed in by the negligent or malign survey design (with no "none of the above) option.
IF there ends up being no difference, well, then show me who cares! But much more likely, the people writing the survey and hoping the answers they get back will mirror the ones they designed it to give will be shocked, shocked to discover that there is actual data coming back at them.
