    I think it's worse than that, Fnord, considering that ICANN had Arthur Anderson as its auditor for quite some time, and relied on them for the analysis duing the new TLD selection process.

    Of course, since Arthur Anderson's report has never been made public, we only get to guess as to what it said.

    I shall leave it as homework to determine which of the 7 selected registries had Arthur Anderson on the payroll, but I'll give you a hint. It's more than one.

    1. I wasn't being serious. I guess I should have included a smiley. :)

    2. Can you provide a link to where Arther Andersen was ICANN's auditor? I do know they were one of the hired 'experts' for the new TLD rollout, and that their work wasn't open or transparent.

    3. It's Andersen, not Anderson.

    4. Perhaps the same Andersen who was one of Billy Tauzin's top financial contributors to his last election campaign. [No smiley here]. -g
