If you stay, you are aiding, abetting and condoning crime

read what i wrote: i made no allegations, and didn't say or even suggest that cerf is somehow responsible for WorldCom's finances. what i did say is that these corporate collapses are symptoms of a very serious problem with corporate governance -- and that we need to consider the relationship between negligent corporate boards and the behavior of ICANN's board.
as i noted in citing a litany of protests from a wide range of organizations and people, that conclusion isn't some kooky allegation of my own; if there's a consensus about anything at all related to ICANN, it's that ICANN has failed. cerf is chairman of ICANN's board, and as such is responsible for overseeing both the board and the staff in an effective way. if ICANN has failed, then there's a strong presumption that cerf has failed. that's why i asked:
has ICANN's board been fulfilling its fiduciary obligation to ICANN itself?
that's a question for cerf to answer, but he won't. he can't -- because ICANN is being sued by one of its own directors over access to financial data. now think about that in relation to enron, to global corssing, worldcom, and a host of other telcos and dotcoms whose boards failed to understand their proper role and its significance. now look at ICANN. what do you see?
