Well, it's not as bad if you express that US$5000 as NZD10000.
If Lynn flys first class from Los Angeles to Auckland to pick up the check (with a Saturday night stayover), ICANN could net US$2250.

Is it still possible to emigrate to NZ?
I love it!

As a fellow New Zealander I'm very proud of this letter written by InternetNZ. I am often just appalled at the blatant commercial favouritism and corruption exhibited by ICANN and the arbitration bodies, and am very happy that this is officially not being condoned by the equivalent body in New Zealand.
$US5,000 may not be much to ICANN, but in principle, this move speaks volumes. New Zealand has got to be one of the last remaining countries where integrity is more important than back-room deals with corporate buddies.
