Any credibility I have is based on the facts I have published - I'm happy to discuss them and so should ICANN be.
The issue is not my credibility. What the hell does it matter what people think of me? I exist in a different universe! I'm nothing to do with the DNS.
The issue is ICANN's credibility, and the credibility of Stuart Lynn and Vint Cerf.
Until they start acting like reasonable people and answering fair and simple questions about issues which have an impact on the Internet worldwide, THEIR credibility is what is compromised.
It's all about openness.
I'm planning to use a few domains in an open and directed manner. If you have a problem with that - fine! But it's not me who is trying to evade open discussion.
Why not address the issues instead of worrying about the means I may choose to employ in my ongoing efforts to get... a simple answer or courteous response from ICANN.
I've been trying to get replies for 7 months (others have probably been trying for years). It's simple.
Besides, I'd welcome litigation from Vint. At least he'd be talking to me!
Have a nice day, and try to recognise irony and light-hearted humour when you meet it.
When you're dealing with wearisome corruption or dishonesty, it's sometimes a welcome relief to act jubilantly and with a gentle smile. I have nothing to hide. I can afford to smile.
Vint says he believes in openness. Well I'm inviting him to "open up" on his special website: www.VintCerf.com
And yes, I chose to do this... with a gentle smile on my face... I don't want to keep the domain... he's welcome to it... but I really DO want detailed dialogue about serious concerns and issues which - to date - he has avoided answering.
Credibility...? Hmmmmm......
Richard

I would say those gentlemen were acting in Bad Faith and lack any credibility - because they are not doing their job properly.
As well as being incompetent, they have shown contempt and arrogance towards the Internet community.
Richard is not using domains for speculative or squatting purposes - he has fair use - for free speech issues.
Just like WIPO.org.uk is to UN WIPO.
Are you the same Anonymous Coward that did not answer my questions - because he was to frightened to tell the truth?
I have no problem with people being anonymous - but at least get yourself a handle pal.

Re: Domain Squatting---Domain speculation is akin to real estate speculation, hence the promotion "land rush".
