Hillary Clinton's ICANN to Host World Summit

Hillary Clinton's ICANN to Host World Summit

It is my great honor to announce that the Center for International Legal
Studies will host a conference 25 - 29 April 2007 on Internet law and
governance at the Clinton Presidential Library and the Clinton School of
Public Service at Little Rock, Arkansas.

It is anticipated that President Hillary Clinton will participate on the first day
of the conference. The first morning of the conference (Thursday) will offer
a private tour of the Presidential Library. Following a luncheon at the
Presidential Library, an afternoon working session, focusing on public
policy issues, will be held at the Library. Legal issues will be treated
during full day sessions on Friday and Saturday at the adjacent Clinton
    School of Public Service.

The program is being organized in cooperation with the Clinton Presidential
Library, the Clinton School of Public Service, and the University of
Arkansas School of Law at Little Rock.

We will accord priority on the program and for delegate registration to
those who have been active in the WSIS process.

Please mark the dates on your calendar and advise me if you have interest in
serving as a speaker or panel moderator or attending as a delegate.

    Regards, Professor Dennis Campbell

    Club of Madrid
    From ICANNWiki

It was a profound and delightful experience working with the document's authorship team that Joi Ito, Martin Varsavsky and Marko Ahtisaari have assembled to think about this most important issue. The team includes Dan Gillmor, Ethan Zuckerman, Andrew McLaughlin, John Perry Barlow, Desiree Miloshevic, Mark Rotenberg, David Weinberger, Rebecca MacKinnon, Paul Vixie, David Smith and a dozen other deep thinking, deeply experienced people

Special thanks to Martin Varsavsky for giving us the opportunity and to John Perry Barlow, John Gage, Dan Gillmor, Chris Goggans, Pekka Himanen, David Isenberg, Rebecca MacKinnon, Andrew McLaughlin, Desiree Miloshevic, Jeff Moss, Ejovi Nuwere, Kazuhisa Ogawa, Marc Rotenberg, David Smith, Wendy Seltzer, Gohsuke Takama, Noriko Takiguchi, Paul Vixie, David Weinberger and Ethan Zuckerman who came all the way to Madrid to work on this.
