Show me a person who thinks a 0.001% market share is a monopoly, and I'll show you a moron.
Fact is, it is entirely consistent and non-hypocritical to be a profit-maximizing agent in a competitive market, as I am, yet be AGAINST monopolists like VeriSign abusing their real monopoly power. Just like Donald Trump can complain if regulators raise the price of electricity in his buildings or the cost of mandatory building permits.
Where you make your mistake is thinking that it's hypocritical for one group of "rich people" to be against another group of "rich people". Bzzzzt, happens all the time. One group of people can be proud of how they made their money -- in the trenches, through hard work, risk-taking, and merit. Those adjectives do not describe VeriSign or other abusive monopolists.
