Where is ICANN in CyberSpace ??? Non-Routable ??
    by Anonymous on Monday December 12 2005, @02:24PM (#16560)
Where is ICANN in CyberSpace ?

The **growing** lack of clue surrounding ICANN and
what meat-space people call Internet Governance is
shocking. ICANN (aka Vinton Cerf) will of course
love to welcome that lack-of-clue to his fold, so
that he can use them as tools. Anyone with clue
has walked away. The ICANN insiders are of course
sitting on a beach laughing their way to the bank.

Q: Where is ICANN in CyberSpace ?

    A: Off-shore, largely in **un-registered** FREE non-routable IP
address blocks, and non-routable IP blocks from APNIC.

In a strange, ironic twist, it may be true justice
that ICANN is largely dis-connected from American
    consumers on telco-backed high-speed transports
that do not route to the IP address space that
ICANN populates. Could that be why Americans could
not care less about ICANN and are not considered
to be part of "The ICANN Community" ???
