ICANN and ISOC Fighting The END of Whois
Is that a surprise ? ICANN and ISOC make a lot of money from whois.
Okay, ball in play again, after killing RfC 954 forcing "us" to use 1032 they now intend to kill RfC 1032, see http://ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-sanz-rf c1032-historic-00
Andy Newton is the author of several IETF CRISP drafts, that is the cross-registry-information-service-protocol repla cing "whois" for the purposes of registries, e.g. http://ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-ietf-c risp-iris-lwz-04
Marcos Sanz (with Gerhard Winkler) was the author of http://purl.net/xyzzy/home/test/draft-sanz-who is-srv-01.txt He's also working for DENIC, and probably he does not like the de.whois.rfc-ignorant.org entry.

File Lawsuits Before ICANN is Re-Absorbed by USG
ICANN is a private company with a growing stock-pile of cash. Lawsuits should be filed before ICANN is re-absorbed [shutdown] by the U.S. Government.
ICANN provides no public benefit, as their IRS status claims. The U.S. Government will have no choice but attempt to protect the American people from the ICANN virus, and do away with ICANN. Vinton Cerf will walk away with the cash along with his Northern Virginia lawyers.
ICANN has HELPED to facilitate Identity Theft. All victims of Identity Theft should file a class action lawsuit against ICANN.
ICANN has HELPED to facilitate Peodiphiles. All victims of Peodiphiles should file a class action lawsuit against ICANN.
