Nominet's domain name Dispute Resolution Service policy is the big corporate bully-boys dream come true. No registered trademark is required by the challenger. The challenger can submit new material later on knowing that the respondent is denied the chance to respond. As Nominet denies the respondent the chance to reply at this stage, why not slip in a lie or two? Doesn't matter too much because once Nominet has taken the domain name away the respondent probably doesn't have the stamina, resources or finances to contest the decision.
Now Nominet has made it even easier for the big corporates. Nominet is allowing corporate lawyers access to Nominet's domain name database called
PRSS [nominet.org.uk]
This is excellent news for large corporates like the Easy Group the multi-national conglomerate whch has an ongoing crusade to intimidate domain holders of any domains that feature the word "easy". Using PRSS, the Easy Group can search for all domain names containing the letters "easy".
For another "David versus Goliath" case, this is how Easy Group enforces its domain name ‘rights’ [theregister.co.uk]
