"recommendation to diversify funds"
How much cash and other investments does ARIN have these days ?
Does ARIN have enough $$$ to start buying weapons of mass destruction and do they have an armed militia ?
Or, does most of the cash flow out to the ARIN Trustees as out-sourced service contracts ?

"ARIN performed a Sarbanes-Oxley audit. ARIN hired a new auditor."
Sounds like ARIN is trying to figure out where all the money went.
Don't look at ICANN, they can't tell you where all the money went, other than off-shore.
Don't ask Vinton Cerf or Bernie Ebbers where the billions of dollars at Worldcom went. They aren't talking (or listening).
