I elected my government (or at least was able to vote for them or an opponent) who in turn (s)elected my representative(s) to the UN/ITU.I also elected my government (or at least was able to vote for them or an opponent) who in turn (s)elected my representative to the GAC faction of ICANN. While the GAC arm of the USG created (and still controlled) ICANN admittedly has more power than is warranted (given that it was invented by Paul Twomey as his first ICANN make work, and money, project, that should come as no surprise), nevertheless I'll take the UN/ITU over the ICANN/GAC, or for that matter, the UN's (consistent and apparently accurate) opinion regarding IRAQ's WMD over the USG's (ever changing and hopefully some day even accidentally approaching accurate) opinion regarding IRAQ's WMD, any day of the week thx. -g
