But for Vint (with an assist from Ken Fockler), .web would have gone to the other applicant, and then IOD would have been really screwed, which they are now anyway. Please post a link, it doesn't have to be clickable because I know it is beyond your capabilities, regarding Crocker's alleged online statements (I can't stand the guy and I can provide many clickable pointers to prove that, so I'm not standing up for him) or sit down in back and shut the fsck up. -g

Yes, and yes.
And to head off the next questions, yes, we're still involved, yes, we still intend to have .Web delegated, yes, the database is frozen and is not being abandoned, no, nothing has changed in relation to terms, conditions and promises, and yes, there's a good reason that we've frozen it.
