ICANN Slips 75 Cents .NET Tax into Rebid
While no one is paying attention, ICANN has slipped a 75 cents per year .NET Tax to ICANN into the .NET Rebid. Slick, very slick. They can now do that with the ccTLDs, like .DE.
Turkeys and suckers can now line up for the rebid. ICANN will gladly pick their pocket at $500,000 a pop. .NET will then be given back to Verisign, minus 75 cents per year. Verisign will have to live with $5.25, poor fellows. Verisign just loves to be "regulated".
