Nobody has yet explained why .eu Sunrise is not unlawful.
Although the TLD open to ALL businesess in EU (with or without trademark) - Sunrise only allows those with trademark.
We all know - many businesses share same or similar name or initials.
Lawyers know - trademark cannot prevent similar named business, with different goods/service, conducting business lawfully.
Can somebody please explain - how registry giving priority to trademark (so preventing other businesses getting their name) is not a violation of competition law.
As shown - a trademark cannot be used for this purpose.
Surely, the .eu registry is aiding and abetting them in overreach of trademark?
