Does ICANNwatch.NET have an FCC license for that .NAME ? .NET owners are being rounded up and brought under all of the regulatory regimes such as the ITU.
In some States in the U.S., by law, handicapped people are given FREE telecom services. The .NET owners will have to provide their handicapped customers with FREE service.
Canadian ISPs will have to pay out-of-country .NET license fees, for their traffic flowing in and out of "the Homeland".
The latest letter from Verisign to ICANN makes it clear that Verisign intends to operate .NET. The U.S. lawmakers will be coached by Verisign to make that the only choice of the ICANN Board.
It seems unlikely that the name ICANNwatch.NET would make any sense a year from now. If the .NET owners raise the barrier to entry to the .NET zone high enough, domain name cloners, squatters and speculators will not have .NET names.
