Don't compare IOD to New.net. They're totally incomparable because New.net didn't sit on its butt. They worked very hard and still on top of their goal. That's why New.net deserves every little piece of parade.
I salute hard working people focused on their goal.
BTW, registrars would never start selling a domain which has zero accessability like .WEB. On the other hand, New.net domains are visible to 200 million people. Another reason not to compare IOD to New.net.
