The problem that I have with your position is simply that you put down .cat becuase there aren't any better (in your opinion) proposals.
It's not the fault of the .cat proposal that they're mixed in with a bunch of seconds (your words).
Rather than claim that .cat sucks, why not rail against those (better) proposals that weren't made? Better, rail that the really good ones aren't sponsored, and that ICANN needs to rapidly start the process of finishing up the 40-or-so waiting applicants from 2000, and then open it up to more?
With that said, there are a few in this round that I genuinely like.

No I don't think .Cat's a priority.As I said before,since Catalunya is a province and a part of Spain,it is a concern of Spain and it's namespace (like airspace,no?).Besides,there is already a Catalan TLD in the form of .And (dot And) the cc TLD for the country of Andorra which is populated by Catalans and where Catalan is the official language.
