Yes, I agree. It looked as though he WAS playing the same game that everyone does these days. However, I don't want the officers or board members of registries playing those games with the TLDs they manage. Do you?
Officers and Directors of registries shouldn't be domain speculators. Otherwise, the consumer will be screwed.

I agree. I'm not a speculator, so that should put your mind at ease.
I consulted for a company that asked me to write software to help them acquire domain names as they were deleted by the registry.
By the rules.
Next time, please feel free to ask me, directly. Everyone should know by now that I'm more than happy to answer any question put to me. Otherwise, you're just playing at rumor. Pretty easy to do when you don't own your words, Mr. Anonymous.
