fnord, yes I know that other registries have done the wildcard thing, but have these registries provided meaningful results in return of a typo? You can even type in phrases. E.g "search for cheap flights". I know that various registries have partnerships with ppc's, BUT DO THESE REGISTRIES GIVE AWAY A FREE LISTING?. E.g. Registerfly runs a promotion in which you get $20 for signing up with ah-ha. But to sign-up with ah-ah you have to fund your account with $50 (minimum).
New.net is now bundled with RealPlayer software. Do they have a bad reputation? In addition software like Kazaa is very popular with young Internet user...I don't think New.net gets much negative attention by being bundled with it from young Internet user. Btw. in helping to finance Kazaa by bundling New.net Plug-in with it they are helping Kazaa to stay away from spyware.
