My take is that Verisign will continue to have traffic directed to the wildcard ip address and "only" replace sitefinder with an error "routine" that looks and feels like the original. They will continue to "log" all traffic from millions of internet users and profit from the knowledge of what domains are in hot demand from an common internet users point of view. ICANN sould require the zone entry to be removed... not simply shutdown sitefinder services on the web site.
