Well, economically it probably is - there's now enough evidence of side-effects to suppose that the benefit to VS is less than the cost to everyone else. An economic analysis would be interesting. At the moment VS can't even keep the service up, it's suffering continuous timeouts, so it's worse than what happened before. VS management is an incompetent bunch of moneygrabbing jerks.

An error message in accordance with your browser's language settings is infinitely better than Sitefinder, which is only in English.
I realize that the English speaking world has to simply put up with those parts of the world that hold onto this quaint idea of using foreign languages instead of communicating normally, but until then I am willing to bet they would prefer a message which means something to them than one which does not.
How hard is that to understand?
