    techical concern...
    by Anonymous on Monday September 22 2003, @06:46PM (#12281)
how's this for a technical concern:
typoed domains in e-mail addresses are queued up and a bounce isn't delivered to the sender for up to 5 days after the original message was sent due to the fact that the sending mail server is unable to connect to 64.94.110.11
That's a long time to wait to find out you had a typo in the address of an e-mail you sent.

    Follow the money

The TLD sponsor contracts shown on ICANN’s site seem to require some interesting things from TDL sponsors such as VeriSign…
·TDL sponsors must provide an accurate size/count of their domain namespace.
·TDL sponsors must pay a fee to ICANN for each domain in their namespace.

Now that VeriSign’s domain namespace is larger than the number of atoms in the known universe I look forward to seeing the size of the fee they with be paying.

Why the ICANN doesn't tell Verisign who's the boss ?
