You know, at first I was vehemently opposed to this and thought big old VeriSign was going to rape us a little more, but honestly I have actually used the thing around 5 or 6 times today without ever thinking about it. I mistyped a letter on one URL and transposed another and each time my choice was first in the list.
Given that 95% of the world uses a PC and IE, this traffic used to go through MSN anyway and their results were always useless. At least now I am getting something helpful out of the deal. The sponsored links and all that Category crap are useless but the fuzzy matching works pretty good and I actually think it is helpful and at least I don't have to see MSN on my screen anymore. I also think the page layout, color, and design are terrible as well, but at least it loads quickly.
VeriSign does plenty of other stupid stuff and I think this is one area where they have actually have done something beneficial... just my two cents.

These Site Finder results are useless too. It's just a bunch of paid links from Overture. It is not helpful.
If you mistype URLs a lot, get the Google Toolbar [google.com]. :)
