I firmly believe Dr. Mueller's White Paper on TLD expansion should be implemented *as is* (or with very few, minor revisions) by the end of the year. That would certainly open up the door to registry competition and lower the value of domain names, thereby decreasing competition. The only change I'd make is have 30 new TLDs per year instead of 40.
Dr. Mueller is a genius.
