    Joining the dots

    The ERC itself says....

"There is much work to do, and little time in which to get it done. As a result, the ERC will from time to time ask for particular assistance in filling out the details of the Blueprint for Reform." ........

Then the ERC created the NPD (Names Policy Development Assistance Group). This is considered as part of the ERC, not least by ICANN, who gave it a URL as a subset of the ERC. .... http://www.icann.org/committees/evol-reform/npdpag-report-21aug02.htm.
    .... The NPD said....

"Our recommendations are the result of input obtained from a number of individuals - Rita A. Rodin (chair), Marilyn Cade, Guillermo Carey, Caroline Chicoine, Bret Fausett, Jeff Neuman, Bruce Tonkin, and Philip Sheppard. Each of us has a long history of involvement with ICANN and its current DNSO policy development processes. We also have a variety of backgrounds and perspectives on policy
development. In addition, Hans Kraaijenbrink and Joe Sims participated in our deliberations."

Speaking on behalf of the NPD, Bret Fausett himself said....

"The advisory group was asked to assist the ERC in drafting certain implementation detail for the Blueprint for Reform. There shouldn't be any great surprises in what we're doing."

Well no, there isn't, but I'd just like the less well informed to be clear about the relationship bwteen the author of this so-called independent article and ICANN's ERC, whose agenda is to implement the Lynn Plan regardless of community opposition.

Because the report in which someone has participated appears in the website directory of an ICANN committee, he is entangled with a report by a different group which appears in the same directory? You call that joining the dots? I can't believe that instead of apologizing, you just go on and on. This is my last posting.
