Signing my name to posts won't change history. The buck stops with the Directors, period.
Comments here contributed by anonymous posters are either truth, or not. A signature does not change facts.
Instead of Abril i Abril screaming and yelling at the top of his lungs that the new TLD selections back in November 2000 were a done deal before ICANN accepted 50 large from so many suckered applicants, he just sat on his hands, abstaining from the whole mess. He was part of the problem, not the solution.
He sat by while crooks were awarded new TLDs, while honest applicants were slapped down by the Board.
I find great humor in the fact that everyone here is so goddamn concerned about name calling, and less concerned about the fraud perpetrated on domain name consumers.
You cannot blame me, nor other ripped-off consumers for harboring tremendous angst.
Every friggin' departing Director claims ICANN is a mess, after they've helped make that mess.
Then you have Karl Auerbach, who seems to be the apologist for those who made Karl the lame duck he became.

if signing your name won't change history (your hyperbole, not mine), then neither will not signing it.
I find great humor in the fact that everyone here is so goddamn concerned about name calling, and less concerned about the fraud perpetrated on domain name consumers.
if you pulled your head out of your hindquarters, you might notice that the people who maintain this site have devoted years to exposing that and many other issues; and, further, that this site continues to do so on a daily basis. frankly, these efforts would work a lot better if they weren't dragged down by anonymous trolls dragging it down with name-calling while puffing themselves up like they're heroes for doing it.
cheers,
