Ruling The Root rules! But the domain bubble hasn't "burst" Mr. Mueller, it's just economically depressed this month. By the way, decent (not top-notch) .US names start at $500 - $2300. I wouldn't call that a burst bubble ...
.... decent .com names all have snaps on them if they are due to expire within the next 2 months ... doesn't sound like a burst bubble to me ...
... sold a small city geographic .info for $1000 two weeks after Awfulass's Landrush 1 ... not too shabby ...
... sold a small beach town .biz for $1600 four months ago ... not too shabby.
You're great Milton, a smart fellow, and a good writer. As boring as internet matter are, Ruling The Root was fascinating from cover to cover. Thanks.

Anyone tell Milton about the current worldwide recession? Who's got 100K for a domain name in a recession? Domains are like fine art and other non-essentials ... the market dries up in a recession. The low value of domains these days is a buyer's market, nothing more, nothing less.
If you teach at Syracuse for a living, there really is no recession. But out here in the real world of commerce, the recession is very real.
