Vittorio,
I applaud your positive attitude here, but you don't really believe Esther Dyson's presence in the ALAC is a plus for domain name consumers, do you? She chaired ICANN's board at the precise moments all of the really bad decisions were made ... she went right along with them ... she crapped on all critics, especially the ones who turned out to be correct in their predictions.
It's complete folly to believe she'll do good here.

I've redone the arbitrary ranking, focusing on qualifications in ICANNspeak, and the likley ability to look busy while achieving absolutely nothing of any importance to upset ICANN Staff achieving their goals, a totally arbitrary ranking out of 10, with 0/10 being Karl Auerbach or Michael Froomkin and 10/10 being ICANN Counsel.
