    >* to quickly answer one of the queries raised in >an earlier response - WE DO NOT EXPECT to >charge the $149 right now - we only expect it >AFTER we manage to get your domain name

    >* we do not apply for your name if you do not >wish us to - we cancel the application if you want >us to cancel it

So let me get this right. I have an IP claim. Some reigstrar in India that I've never heard of puts in a applications for my names and the onus is on me to contact you to cancel it??? Get real. You have no right to be submitting applications for clients you've never dealt with. It is a concept known by various terms, among them misrepresentation and FRAUD.

    >We have put in our details for the Registration of >the name and will change that after registration >to the appropriate IP Claim Holder and transfer >the domain name to them. This was the only way >to prevent Speculators from getting hold of these >names and then IP Claimants having to file an >expensive STOP proceeding.

sure you will. You have just admitted to cybersquatting there Bhavin...

If you get any of these names then you will be in a position to blackmail the "rightful owners" just like any other cybersquatter. I hope you have some legal entity in the US so that you can be brought to account under the Anti-cybersquatting statute.

    >we would have made a lot more money had we >decided like all other registrars to entertain >speculators.

This is also bullshit. Enough of the holier than thou crap. Who appointed you guardian of all IP holders with an interest in .biz anyway??

    1) You donot have to contact us (Directi) to cancel the application. If you donot acknowledge the mail and follow the process the application is AUTOMATICALLY CANCELED.

    2) We will not get any name unless the owner EXPLICITLY authorizes us to submit the application on his/her behalf.
