    Verisign/NSI VeriSign to auction expired domains

    GeorgeK writes "Michael Arrington's blog has the scoop on a proposal by VeriSign to auction domains at the registry level. Of course, ICANN's staff must still be on vacation (mentally, if not physically) and have yet to post it on the Correspondence page for over a week.

    Also, VeriSign mentions "broad support" by the "community", but of course domain Registrants have had no input into the process."
