    Anonymous writes "The Board of directors of the French registry AFNIC has just selected today the new General Manager.

    Mathieu Weill, 29, current AFNIC's Board Member representing the Ministry of Industry and Electronic Communications, will take his function at the end of June 2005.

    AFNIC, the operator of .FR register, manages today 355 thousand .FR names while the Germans have 8.5 million, British 4 million, Italians 1 million, with .EU on the horizon.
