    Lawsuits and Judicial Decisions Registrars Sue ICANN to Block WLS

    Today eight registrars filed suit [URL updated] against ICANN, raising a number of claims against WLS, broadly following the outline in the letter from the 'ad hoc coalition' of registrars. (Presumably they rapidly will become the first eight John Does in the VeriSign v. ICANN complaint to be cited by name.)

    The Washington Post has a short article on the lawsuit, and there's an anonymous website promoting it.

    As a result, whatever ICANN decides about WLS in Rome, someone will be making a federal case of it.
