Ken Fockler Joins NomCom
posted by michael on Wednesday June 21 2006, @03:31PM
Ken Fockler, a well-respected former ICANN Board member known for his listening skills and patient diplomatic manner, has been appointed to the NomCom to replace Marilyn Cade who resigned. As far as I'm aware, neither ICANN nor the GNSO Business Constituency, which made the selection, has made a public announcement of this appointment, which happened last week. At present, I am also not aware of what action if any the ICANN Board plans to take to replace recently resigned Chair Eugenio Triana. Interim Chair duties are being ably managed by George Sadowsky.
