    WSIS Internet Governance Symposium Showcases Online Tools

    A Symposium Governing the Internet: Global Rules for Advancing the Information Society, will be held at Syracuse University Friday, November 12. The symposium will focus on the UN Working Group, WSIS and public participation in global governance processes. The symposium highlights the use of online collaboration tools, bringing in Markus Kummer, Executive Coordinator of the UN Working Group Secretariat, and about 50 online participants from around the world in interactive communications, in addition to the 100 or so people expected to physically attend.
