I hear that the Intellectual Property Constituency will then push for a UPCP (Universal Printer Cartridge Policy). Their position is that, as printers are sometimes used for unauthorized copying of material, all future printer cartridges must be constructed in such a way that they will cease to function if used for such purposes. -g

It's not a given he's using HP cartridges. He was actually using aftermarket ones (so called alternative cartridges) because most are cheaper and at least as good. There's no need to demand his resignation, ICANN finds alt-cartridges destabilizing (see ICP-8), so they rigged the last (s)election so that he wouldn't return. Those online selections are so easy to rig, I don't know why something isn't done about it. -g
